What do you use for your extractions?
“I use a lot of extra virgin olive oil, spices, teas. For our Conscious Condiment line, we have infused honeys, mustards, hot sauce, olive oil – stuff for everyday use.” – Chef Jazz
Washington DC’s Cannabis Law
Under Initiative 71 DC operates on the “gifting policy”. This means consumers cannot purchase cannabis from their providers, instead, they would purchase stickers, cookies, or another product with cannabis being the gift. So if you see a provider selling cookies for $60, you’re going to receive an 8th of cannabis as a gift.
- No penalty for possessing anything less than 2 oz
- No penalty for growing less than six plants
- Consumers can consume cannabis on their private property, not in a public space
What’s next for Green Panther Chef in 2020?
“We’re doing a lot of online classes. Some people can’t get to the East Coast so we’re going to do online classes and break down decarboxylation and other cooking tips. I play within a certain range, I dose within a certain range for very specific reasons. I have Crohn’s disease and there’s a lot of people suffering over gastrointestinal issues. I do feel as though a lot of people can get rid of stress, anxiety, insomnia, and other issues if they understand how to do strain alignment and food. So we’re going to bring that online and educate people about cooking with cannabis.” – Chef Jazz
